This church bell-tower seems so small between these high buildings. It is very impressive.
On the picture below, the huge fir tree exactly looks like a bell-tower
It is weird, isn't it ?!...

The tower belongs to Trinity Church. Trinity Church on Wall Street. It's a few steps from Federal Hall which was our first Capital Building.

New York City was the first capital of the United States. It moved to Philadelphia, then finally to what was then called Washington City.

Today most people at least most New Yorkers just call it "D.C."

Also George Washington was sworn in as our first President in the Hall. However he didn't go to Trinity to pray after the ceremony.

For reasons history is still unclear about he went four blocks up Broadway to another chaple whose name escapes me just now,...though it's very famous too.

Btw many took shelter within Trinity during the 9/11 disaster. The former World Trade Center was just a few blocks from the church.
