Nothing too surprising here. This has been suspected by many for a long time. Herr Schikelgruber (his Dad's original surname)may even have suspected (or even actually known)something he would not admit about his ancestry. He certainly did fit the classic profile of the self-hating bigot, such as the several leaders of KKK that turn out to have had African ancestry or the rather large number of raging gay bashers who turn out to be ... (well, you guessed it). As a side note one can mention the unexpectedly high incidence of the gene for sickle cell anemia among white southerners. Only one way that could happen.
I haven't seen the study itself, but if it really is so, it would only serve to confirm what I've considered near certainty for close on to a half-century. That degree of rage seldom appears in those who are secure in their own identuty.

That's not a surprise here either. There were articles back in the 70s saying that one of the maniac's grandparents were Jewish (or great grandparent, it was a while ago).
Some mystery does attach to Hitler's origins. There is even the theory that Hitler was the illegitimate son of Viscount Milner, the British High Commissioner of Cape Colony who manufactured the Boer War so that Great Britain could annex the Orange Free State and the Transvaal Republic.
