What is that white building with the octagonal floor plan and the "lantern" on top that looks like a gazebo with fish scale shingles? Some sort of church I take it, but if so it's an exceptionally handsome one. Or maybe a Masonic temple..? The lantern alone would make a nice little shrine.

These were in fact taken at my favorite place. The Brooklyn Botanical Gardens.
I've been walking to, and hanging out there since I was little.
It's one of the best things about the Borough of Churches.
