"The Management"

Here's a snapshot of gawd, or at least one of them, working in his office. What a sorry bastard. I feel so bad for him. There he is tinkering with us.

He's trying to help us make sense of the brief crappy lives he gave us.

I'm on the table there somewhere. So are you. I think I see Napoleon, and my sixth grade teacher as well. What a mess.

Aw heck he means well, and by the look of him he knows what a total disaster this particular creations is. Well better luck next time.

Click on the Divine image to enlarge,...maybe ya might see yourself on his table.

Stay tuned.

"Kid Strip Searched at Airport"

The new security measures at our airports are fucking over people with disabilities,..a guy had his urine bag busted open during his search. Now they're fucking up kiddies.

As you can see in the video a young boy was clearly stripped, and searched. Well com'on he is brown, and could'a had a hydrogen bomb up his butt.

I don't know what happened to his folks. This video is just a minute long so could be out of context,...but not by much.

The worst part is that everybody just stood there watched, and let these goons, these I'm only "following orders" shits do it.

They did it.

They got away clean. Nobody did shit to stop them. This is just the beginning comrades.

The snakes are coming home to roost.

Life in Obama/Palin America.

"Merry Christmas"

WASHINGTON – Republicans in the House have blocked a bill that would have extended jobless benefits for the long-term unemployed beyond the holiday season.

The most recent extension of jobless benefits expires Dec. 1. Two million people will lose benefits averaging *$310 a week nationwide by the end of the year.

The measure would have extended jobless benefits through the end of February at a cost of adding $12.5 billion to the nation's debt. Republicans opposing the measure said that the measure should be paid for by **cutting unspent money from last year's economic stimulus bill.

Democrats brought the measure to the floor under fast-track rules that required a two-thirds vote to pass, so the measure fell despite winning a majority.

Associated Press

*There is 'no' part of the United States of America where $300. bucks a week will house, and feed a family of four. A single person would have to miss a few meals a month to get by with that. ...especially in the east coast cities.

**Them nazi bastards knew that "stimulus" dough couldn't be touched which is why they suggested it. This way the evil communist, Kenyan, satanist, cannibal Democrats look like butt-holes for not being reasonable, and 'they',the nazi rich peoples party, look fiscally responsible.

Meanwhile millions are fucked,..again.

"A Full Week"

Let's see, a funeral, a wedding, root canal, a fitting, a new door, and the laundry. All in all a full several daze. Please go to my Queer pages, "Juno 2012", to read about my dear friend Fred that passed on Monday.

So a suit for a memorial, and another for a wedding.

I don't wear suits, haven't since university. Yeah I wore them back then. Anyway a loss, and a gain.

(My cool new suit!)

Well ain't life grand. I'm confused, wrecked, and having surreal, acid dreams of heaven, hell, and computer games. However my teeth are slowly being repaired.

That's a good thing.

Also I'm fixing the damage in my house. Problem with the doors or specifically the door knobs. Scroll down for how my house tried to kill me a few times.

...and my backed up laundry is done.

Sorry no witty or ironic ravings tonight. Just me, and the life I'm bless with.

Stay Tuned.

PS, Yeah there is a story about Nurse Pickles taking me by the hand to the Dentist,...again.

Them giant needles scare the crap out'a me.

The matter of them suits, and the cool Arab guys that fitted me, and set me up with all the stuff I need. Two years ago I was house-less. Now I'm having suits made. Is this a swell country or what. a way.

I'll get to all that, and more later for now I'm gonna crash.

"I Love the 'Idea' of Cats"

The practical considerations are another matter.

"Blog Notes"

Yeah coming soon more stuff for my quieter blogs Such as the "Royal Republic". Let's see, well it's the same old Queer stuff on my Queer page,.."Juno 2012". However there's a guest editorial, and a story on my "Angels Dreams" blog. See links for my other pages.

Sorry I haven't put much, material on my other blogs lately. 'Been busy, and nuts ya know how that can be. Anyway as winter settles in I'll tinker with my outer rim blogs more.

"Radio Daze"

Well the imploding economy has finally hit my place of employment. All hells broke loose. At one of our radio stations on the coast the whole staff has resigned in protest over the layoff of certain hosts, and their programs.

Here in the Emerald City our fund raiser crapped out bad,..I mean as in hundreds of thousands short

The manager is freaking out, the staff is pissed, and confused, and our program director is a marked man.

Did I mention our Head Suit from the coast is here to see what the hell went wrong. She's trying to keep this demented network in one piece, and a major market outlet going this far south ain't making her smile.

This is going to be fun. The network boss the local manager, and our program director are going to be in the same place at the same time on Monday. I should sell tickets.

Above is the much missed late "Grandpa" Al Lewis of "Munsters", and "Car 54" fame. He did a show at dear old Wbai for years. All sorts of famous, and infamous folks did work in these scary halls.

Btw we just had our big Broadway epic 50th anniversary bash the other day. All sort of stars, and big shots came by, and performed. We even raised a nice amount out of it. Not enough to fill a quarter million dollar hole, but nice.

All the old timers with the Foundation were supposed to go up on stage, and tell jolly stories about out station, WBAI, see links. Eh, we didn't. We were too pissed at what's going on in the network so we sat this one out.

A sinking economy, dried up funding sources, and traditional corporate mayhem. What fun. On the up side my 2000 years of seniority is still saving my butt.

Fingers crossed.

Why are these people smiling?

Stay Tuned.

(Our Fund Raising style may need a bit of tweaking.)

"Veterans Day"

In Flanders Fields

In Flanders Fields the poppies blow
Between the crosses row on row,
That mark our place; and in the sky
The larks, still bravely singing, fly
Scarce heard amid the guns below.
We are the Dead. Short days ago
We lived, felt dawn, saw sunset glow,
Loved and were loved, and now we lie
In Flanders fields.
Take up our quarrel with the foe:
To you from failing hands we throw
The torch; be yours to hold it high.
If ye break faith with us who die
We shall not sleep, though poppies grow
In Flanders fields.

"Students Fight for their Lives."

All over the former industrial world there are serious cut backs in social services. Education, health, housing, and so on.

Indeed some years ago the Republican party here in the land of the free abolished the Department of Health Education, and Welfare. They saw it as a subversive socialist wedge.

The same now seems to be happening in the U.K. The Tories,..aka Republicans raised higher education cost by a factor of three. Thereby cutting out the better part of a generation from ever getting even a basic degree.

Btw in this era a B.A. is needed even to be a clerk in a department store. So this act will condemn hundreds of thousands of Brits to a life of low income employment.

A grand social reformation is happening in the West. The question is if it will be be back towards a pre-ww2 standard of living or something slightly better. Say a 1955/'60 level of liberal democracy.

Not as wealthy as late 20th century lifestyles, but it's at least civilized. I remember because I was there. Be nice to have the milk delivered again. That, and the schools will actually teach kids to read, and write.

"This is who We are"

"Pontiac on Mars"

Okay it's not really a Pontiac, but it's one of six American cars in space. That is Our Empire sent three buggies to the moon to haul the astronauts around, and three rovers to Mars.

How's that for Car Culture.

Anyway's there one of our rovers up there tooling about Mars, and apparently eating dirt. (???) Makes me proud in a weird surreal sort of way. In fact them old surrealists from 100 years ago would have loved all this stuff.

Stay Tuned.

"Noctilucent Clouds"

"We'll have to Try Again"

The Dream lives. It's still in our Hearts. We just have to try again.

"It's WAR!!"

At last we will have a final showdown with "Americanus Stupidus", and their corporate enablers! Well actually we're so stupid in this country that we don't realize that we just cut our own throats in this last mid-term election.

Even Obama is finally freaked out.

Ah well business as usual till the end. Which isn't as far off for this Republic of dummies as some think. Every time this country gets a chance to get it right we blow it. Last time we shot everybody that could have led us out of the darkness.

This time, well gee I don't even know what to call it. People that have lost everything or are about to just voted to restore the crooks that sent their jobs, and futures to China. Did it glad too.

Truly a historic, and stunning act of civil stupidity.

I sit here in disbelief. Their retirement money is gone. Their kids will never go to university or remain in the middle class. We're 'already' slipping into second world status. Yet the morons are actually celebrating.

Books will be written, plays, maybe even movies like "JFK" which will show the corporate origins of this disaster. I remember during the Obama campaign I said that this is the 'last' time I'll give the system a chance. The last time I'll vote. This after that stolen election by the republicans in 2000.

Btw if Bush had lost, which he did, but if he hadn't been put in office by the Supreme Court. The Iraq War 'may' not have happened, and the economy 'may' not have imploded. At least we wouldn't be in the Second Great Depression.

So now what.

Me I'm just drawing Angels, and posting them on my Queer blog. That, and working on my little house, and learning to cook.

Life is good, especially if you're alive to notice.

Stay Tuned.

(...Civil War? Been there, done that.)

"Door Knob from Hell"

This is the little bastard that gave me the concussion when I slipped the other day. As you can see from the bottom snap it was a cheap piece of crap,..thank the G-ddess! If it had been a 'real' knob I wouldn't be here so gleefully reporting this noise.

The details are on my post, "My house is trying to Kill Me" or something like that. Scroll down for that.

Otherwise I'm, fine.

Well okay the dreaded American voter proved their amazing stupidity again. This by electing people that 'openly said' that they would be shills for the wealthiest one percent. 'And btw "we'll make sure you never get National Heath",..not ever!

These guys are living in their cars now, but just restored the gangsters that put them there. What am I thinking they also said they'd impeach Obama.

Ya don't suppose this all might be some sort of white fear thing about having that Brown guy in the White House?

Nawwww, it must be something else.

"Great Recession Eats Pontiac"

If there ever was a symbol of the American Empire it was our seriously cool big cars. Pontiac was one of these, and a doorway symbol into the middle class.

Sort of like being first generation university student, first suburban house, all that. Well ya can kiss all that gleefull noise goodbye.

Pontiac from General Motors is toast. After 84 years of tempting Yank working stiffs onto the Interstates it's gone. Like the American Dream that it symbolized for generations Pontiac is History.

Ah!,...the wonderful giant gas guzzlers that could barely fit into your garage or any reasonable sized parking spots are vaporized. I remember riding around in my uncle's 1959 Pontiac.

It was like be driven about in an vast aircraft carrier with stereo radio, air conditioning, and automatic windshield washer. Course there were no safety features whatever.

That sort of thing was for the French, and librarians.

So if we were in even a 'minor' accident me, and uncle would fly through the windshield, getting shredded, beheaded, and set on fire all at the same time.

'But hey the Interstates ain't for sissies!

I loved it.

Yeah my extended family, my aunts, uncles, assorted cousins, my mom 'n dad were finally at the entry level of the Grand Post War American Middle Class.

This btw at the absolute peak of the American Empire! ( ya hearts out you selfish, uneducated millennials.) We owned the the damned planet, and they could kiss our nuclear powered butt if they didn't like it.

Oh we shall never see such days again.

Aw well,..time to learn Mandarin.

Oh, cute runabout,..I'll take two!
